Wouldn't say we have a proud history. Keep getting relegated, got docked points for fielding ineligible players, fans have a reputation for mindless violence, got bought by porn barons, and we play in a shit rented stadium.
Only thing for us to be proud about since Brooking's header in 1980 is that we have the good sense to boo the knee.
